Job Posting Title: Safety Specialist (TS)Work Schedule: 2wks in/ 2wks out 11 hrs per day, flights out of the Saskatoon airport to McArthur River, SKJob Posting Start Date: 01/01/2026Job Posting End Date: 12/31/2026Key ResponsibilitiesThe safety specialist ensures or construction activities comply with the Cameco’s safety, health, environment and quality (SHEQ) requirements and monitors daily activities to identify hazardous conditions and implementation of safe work proceduresWork closely with construction management team (CMT) and contractorsResponsible for ensuring all safety, health and environmental procedures and work instructions are followedConduct workplace inspections with CMT, focusing on behavioural observationsReviews field level risk assessments (FLRAs) and daily contact cards for quality adherenceMay conduct and monitor SHEQ related training for construction management team (CMT) personnel and contractors and assess qualifications of construction contractor personnelParticipate in job hazard assessments, safety meetings, toolbox meetings, constructability reviews, project kick-off meetings, upon requestConducts daily and weekly job site inspections as per procedureIdentifies and reviews various health and safety concerns specific to the work siteInvestigates injuries, accidents and near misses as per site corrective action processesEnsure timely notification occurs of significant eventsMonitors quality of incident investigations and ensures effective and appropriate corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner #J-18808-Ljbffr
