Our client is seeking a Senior Analyst, Vendor Management (12 month contract) to play a key role in overseeing and governing a portfolio of critical third‑party vendor relationships across the organization.This role sits within a centralized vendor management function and acts as a subject‑matter expert, supporting multiple business lines to ensure vendors are managed consistently, effectively, and in line with regulatory and internal requirements.As part of an integrated and growing organization, this role will take on an expanding portfolio of Tier 1 and other centralized vendors (e.g., OSFI B10 Material Vendors, Staples, Iron Mountain, mail and courier services). The Senior Analyst will work closely with internal relationship owners and external partners, ensuring strong vendor performance, compliance, and value realization.What You’ll Be DoingManage a portfolio of vendor relationships, including OSFI B10 Material Vendors, to drive service excellence, mitigate third‑party risk, and maximize value for moneyAct as a governance partner alongside internal teams that own vendor relationshipsPerform ongoing vendor governance activities in accordance with organizational policies and proceduresTrack, monitor, and evaluate vendor performance against contractual service levels and KPIsPrepare and deliver clear, insightful performance reporting and recommend corrective actions where requiredCoordinate and lead cross‑functional vendor review meetings, including development of presentation materials for senior stakeholdersServe as the primary escalation point for vendor‑related issues and incidentsInterpret and manage contractual terms and obligations to support effective vendor oversightIdentify and lead cost savings and process improvement initiativesPerform reconciliation and verification of vendor invoicesEnhance vendor oversight processes and identify best practices to improve efficiency and effectivenessEnsure corporate and regulatory requirements are met by facilitating documentation, reviews, and updates to internal policies and proceduresUpdate and maintain operational procedures related to vendor managementForecast and manage Mastercard inventory and other collateral in line with business needs and cost optimizationSupport additional initiatives and duties as assignedWhat You’ll Need To Be SuccessfulBachelor’s degree, or 4–5 years of relevant experience in vendor management, operations, or a related fieldStrong ability to analyze contracts, documentation, and data to identify risks and establish appropriate controlsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with business partners, senior leaders, and external vendorsProven ability to build and maintain effective relationships across multiple internal and external stakeholdersExperience managing conflict and operating effectively under pressureStrong organizational skills with the ability to multi‑task and maintain attention to detailComfortable working independently in a structured, governance‑driven environmentProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookLocation: Toronto, Ontario, CanadaAnnual Salary: CA$135,000.00 – CA$135,000.00 (3 weeks ago posting) #J-18808-Ljbffr
