Payroll Specialist at ADP Apply now to join ADP’s Human Resources Outsourcing team as a Payroll Specialist. This role supports clients by providing expert payroll and tax guidance, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. What You’ll Do Manage client payroll – Oversee payroll and audit functions for multiple clients, schedule and run payrolls, balance year‑end records, remit third‑party remittances, and complete all related reporting. Serve as the Subject Matter Expert – Provide accurate statutory information on payroll topics, locate answers through knowledge bases and resources, use internal tools, and recommend best practices to improve service. Problem‑solve – Collaborate with technical support and ADP Service hubs to resolve issues, offer feedback on products and processes, and drive continuous improvement. Develop knowledge – Maintain National Payroll Institute (NPI) designation, attend required departmental training, and demonstrate proficiency in learning. To Succeed in This Role Minimum 5 years Canadian payroll processing experience. Minimum 5 years client service experience. Advanced internet and MS Office skills (Word/Excel). Excellent communication and analytical skills, able to translate findings into actionable solutions. Strong client service orientation. Preferred Qualifications Post‑secondary education or equivalent experience in administration/client service/HR. Working toward or holding National Payroll Institute (NPI) certification (PCP, CPM).
