Rudiment Labs is seeking a talented Frontend Developer to build intuitive interfaces for our research platforms and clinical applications. In this role, you'll leverage your expertise in React and Next.js to create user-friendly interfaces that help researchers and healthcare providers access and interact with our cancer research tools.As a Frontend Developer at Rudiment, you'll be responsible for creating intuitive, accessible, and performant user interfaces for our research platforms and clinical applications. You'll work closely with designers, data scientists, and backend developers to translate complex cancer research data into understandable and actionable visualizations and interfaces.Your work will directly impact how researchers and healthcare providers interact with our AI-powered tools, enabling them to make better decisions and ultimately improve cancer detection, diagnosis, and treatment. This is a unique opportunity to apply your frontend development skills to meaningful projects that have the potential to transform cancer care.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces using React and Next.jsCollaborate with designers to implement UI/UX designs and ensure a consistent visual language across our applicationsWork with data scientists and backend developers to integrate APIs and display complex cancer research data in intuitive waysCreate interactive data visualizations that help researchers and clinicians understand complex datasetsBuild reusable components and libraries to maintain consistency across our applicationsImplement state management solutions to handle complex application statesWrite unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability and maintainabilityParticipate in code reviews and contribute to the team's technical growthQualificationsRequired3+ years of experience in frontend development with ReactExperience with Next.js or similar React frameworksFamiliarity with modern frontend build tools and workflows (e.g., Webpack, ESLint, Prettier)Experience with UI component libraries and CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS, Chakra UI, Material-UI)Knowledge of testing frameworks and best practices (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library)Ability to work remotely and collaborate effectively within a distributed teamPreferredExperience with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, Jotai, etc.)Experience with data visualization libraries (D3.js, Chart.js, Recharts, etc.)Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and implementation practicesUnderstanding of performance optimization techniques for React applicationsExperience working in healthcare or research-oriented applicationsFamiliarity with GraphQL and related tools (Apollo, Relay, etc.)Experience with CI/CD workflows and deployment strategiesApply for this PositionReady to join us in our mission to transform cancer research?
