This role champions Riverside's Core Values and fosters a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and collaboration. By driving operational excellence and empowering teams, the Production Manager ensures that production targets are consistently met or exceeded, customer expectations are fulfilled, and a positive, respectful workplace is maintained. The role also contributes strategically to labour planning, budgeting, and cross‑functional initiatives, positioning the site for long‑term success and innovation.Primary ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate and uphold Riverside's Core ValuesEnforce Riverside's Food Safety and Health and Safety policies and proceduresDeliver WOW daily through:Relentless improvement of the current stateA positive employee experienceOrganization, housekeeping, and cleanlinessAchieve 100% On‑Time In‑Full performance for all production lines in the facilityDemonstrate ownership and improve OEE with a sense of urgency using LEAN and Continuous Improvement tools in a collaborative mannerUrgently address customer complaints with effective corrective and preventative actions to achieve a CCPMU rate less than targetEnsure correct utilization and integrity of SAP and Redzone systemsCreate and execute an annual labour plan and budget aligned with the site manufacturing strategy and objectivesBe a role model for data‑driven decision making in productionConduct resource planning in a proactive mannerLead and coach supervisors while promoting internal development and growth across all rolesProvide clear expectations and feedback for all direct reportsContribute to forecasting, planning, and scheduling activitiesAdd value through expertise and participation in new product launch, product extension, or line upgrade activitiesAchieve productive and respectful relationships within 100% of the organizationAssist other Riverside leaders, teams, and employees in accomplishing corporate objectives, showing a One Riverside, One Team mindset dailyKeep the work atmosphere FUN by keeping it light and welcomingOther duties as requiredThis role requires flexibility to work at least one weekend shift per month, as well as availability for occasional off‑administrative hours, in alignment with the 24/7 nature of our operations.Education & QualificationsUndergraduate degree in Science, Engineering, or Business; MBA or Masters are an asset8+ years experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, food and CPG industries preferred5+ years in management and leadership with proven ability to build and develop high‑performing teamsSAP exposure and expertise preferredSix Sigma, PMP, Lean certifications are an assetPassion for the field and subject matterExceptional time management and organizational skills, self‑starter with a high level of initiative and adaptabilityDemonstrates humility throughout the company on a day‑to‑day basisWhat We ExpectValues‑led: You'll be a member of a thoughtful and compassionate team that prioritizes respect, teamwork and resourcefulness along with a good dash of fun.
