Rehabilitation Aide — Extendicare Cedars Villa 243‑bed Long‑Term Care Home located in the southwest Calgary. Full‑time Certified Rehabilitation Aide position. Responsibilities Directly account to the OT/PT. Implement maintenance of patient programming under the direction of the OT/PT. Communicate changes in resident abilities and function to the OT/PT to complete assigned programs. Prepare apparatus and equipment required for the program. Record resident participation in the programs. Complete tasks as assigned by the OT/PT for the benefit of the residents. Qualifications Post‑secondary diploma or degree in Rehabilitation therapy aide or therapy assistant related field from a community college or university. Minimum 1–2 years’ experience preferable in Continuing Care.Excellent customer‑service skills. Proven track record with fundraising. Experience with RAI 2.0, Outlook, Word and Excel. Ability to work alone and with others while prioritizing tasks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in stressful situations and with diverse individuals or groups. Strong organizing, planning, prioritizing, time‑management and multi‑tasking abilities.
