Workday Support Consultant Our client in the education sector is seeking a contract based Workday Support Consultant to support its Workday HCM and Finance platform. Duration: 3 months Location: Remote or Hybrid Responsibilities Execute and validate bi-weekly payroll runs and resolve payroll calculation or processing issues. Troubleshoot HCM issues related to time tracking, benefits, compensation, retro activity, and costing allocations. Support payroll compliance, reconciliation activities, and audit-related tasks. Manage and troubleshoot banking transactions, payment integrations, settlement issues, and AP/AR workflows. Provide Tier 2/3 functional support across Workday HCM and Finance. Investigate and resolve integration-related issues (EIB, Core Connectors, etc.). Maintain configuration updates, documentation, SOPs, and support logs. Support Workday bi-annual releases through impact analysis, regression testing, and adoption of new features. Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT stakeholders to prioritize requests and communicate resolutions. Provide best-practice guidance, knowledge transfer, and operational handover. Requirements 5+ years of hands-on Workday support experience across HCM and/or Finance. Strong experience with Workday Payroll, including end-to-end payroll execution and issue resolution. Solid understanding of Workday Financials, including banking, AP/AR, and payment processing. Experience with Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors; Studio experience is an asset). Proven experience supporting Workday release cycles and regression testing. Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently with minimal onboarding. Experience in higher education is an asset.
