Job DescriptionOur TorontoJobs.ca Recruiting Division client, a leader in the commercial real estate finance industry located in downtown Toronto, is looking for an Accounting and Finance Manager.Position: Accounting & Finance ManagerReporting To: Director of AccountingPosition Location: HybridResponsibilitiesPrepare financial statements and investor reports for senior management on a timely basis (monthly, quarterly, and annually).Manage accounting staff including setting team goals, providing guidance and delegating tasks.Responsible for daily fund cash management, including preparation of daily cashflow projections and analysis.Responsible for managing the fund debt facilities, including extensions as required, draws, repayments, and reporting (monthly, quarterly and annually).Responsible for managing annual financial audits on multiple entities.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in industry.Strong Excel skills and experience with financial software (Sage preferred).Superior written and analytical skills.Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.Ability to work independently and under time pressure.Experience in commercial real estate accounting and/or finance an asset.About the CompanyOur client is a well-established organization in the commercial real estate finance sector, known for its professionalism and long-standing presence in the Canadian market.
