Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations with precision and compassion, ensuring high-quality imaging for accurate patient diagnosis. This role requires a strong understanding of maternal-fetal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology (Ob/Gyn), and medical imaging techniques. The Ultrasound Technologist will collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. Duties Conduct diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including obstetric, gynecologic, and other specialized imaging as required. Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures, ensuring comfort, and maintaining patient care standards. Operate ultrasound equipment utilizing advanced sonography techniques while adhering to aseptic protocols. Analyze images for quality and accuracy, making necessary adjustments to optimize diagnostic results. Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, findings, and patient information in accordance with medical records policies. Collaborate with physicians to interpret imaging results and assist in diagnosis processes. Follow strict infection control practices, including aseptic technique, to ensure patient safety. Stay updated on the latest advancements in medical imaging, anatomy knowledge, and physiology relevant to ultrasound technology. Experience Proven experience in maternal-fetal medicine or obstetric/gynecologic sonography is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to ultrasound imaging. Hands‑on experience with medical imaging equipment and diagnostic radiology procedures. Familiarity with patient care practices, communication skills for patient interaction, and the ability to work effectively within a healthcare team. Prior experience demonstrating proficiency in aseptic technique, medical terminology, and detailed understanding of anatomy is preferred.
