The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the customer base within Quebec region and ensure our customers receive exceptional customer service and support through effective communication, teamwork, and accountability. The role is based out of our Dorval, QC location.Benefits To Joining Midland:A dynamic, safe, and rewarding work environmentA flexible health, drug, dental, and vision planRRSP matching programEmployee & Family Assistance ProgramsHealth & Wellness reimbursements, includes gym memberships, fitness classes or online workout programs3 weeks' paid vacationMaternity leave top-up programGrowth and progression opportunities within Midland Transport and large network of the JD Irving group of companiesResponsibilitiesProvide superior quality service to customers through every interactionPlan and execute weekly call schedules to maximize territory growth and valueProspect potential or existing partners and promote Midland servicesGenerate and qualify leads to grow revenue for Quebec region & beyondIdentify and secure new customers in your territory while growing existing customer baseShare marketplace intelligence and new partnership opportunities with sales team and actively contribute during team calls and eventsSource truckload opportunities to support network efficienciesBuild and maintain a strong sales pipeline and successfully close opportunitiesDevelop and present transport solutions to customers, including pricing and corporate materialsQualificationsYou have a bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Marketing or Business AdministrationYou have a minimum of 1 year of sales experience, preferably in the transportation or courier industriesYou are organized, confident and have a motivation to find solutions for customersYou have strong presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skillsYou have excellent communication and interpersonal skillsYou can travel within the sales territoryYou have a valid driver's licenseYou have knowledge of transportation operations (Asset)Language requirement:French: Good written and oral communication skills required.English: Good written and oral communication skills required on a daily basis to communicate with customers and build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and promote superior quality service at 100%).NB: Inside Sales Account Manager’s position requires knowledge of English (fluent level) in addition to French (oral and written). We also determined that the English language skills already required of other employees do not permit the performance of English language skills tasks related to Inside Sales Account Manager’s position. However, in Québec, Midland limits as much as possible the number of positions for which it requires the knowledge of another language than French.
