Join us in creating a vibrant, welcoming community that empowers seniors to live life to the fullest.About The RoleWe’re looking for a compassionate, organized Spiritual Care Programs Coordinator to help support and nurture the spiritual care ministry at Baptist Housing. Reporting to the Manager of Spiritual Care, you’ll be the administrative backbone of our ministry, providing crucial project support while coordinating spiritual programs and fostering community connections. You’ll work with an incredible team to help shape a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for our residents.Key ResponsibilitiesWork with Manager of Spiritual Care to create and curate spiritual care resources that inspire and support our team and residents.Plan and organize meaningful events and meetings, ensuring every detail is managed with excellence.Collaborate on the development of new spiritual care programs that directly benefit our seniors.Provide organizational support for the Manager of Spiritual Care in communication and scheduling.Keep our spiritual care website vibrant and up to date, making it an essential resource for our team.Be a trusted liaison, coordinating communication between our team, chaplains, and external partners.Support devotional time and maintain prayer resources to uplift our community.Health & Safety LeadershipChampion a culture of safety, ensuring our environment is secure, welcoming, and conducive to healing and growth.Networking & Relationship BuildingBuild strong, nurturing relationships with local faith communities, chaplains, and our broader network of partners.Serve as a key link for communication between the Manager of Spiritual Care and various stakeholders.Professional DevelopmentTake part in conferences and training opportunities to continuously grow in your career and spiritual care expertise.RequirementsA degree in business administration, Christian Ministry, or a relevant field.3-5 years of experience supporting teams or managers in administrative or project assistance roles (Christian ministry or not-for-profit experience is a plus).Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.Expertise in Microsoft Office and a knack for keeping things organized (experience with SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams is a bonus).A heart for service and a passion for supporting others.Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality.Alignment with Baptist Housing’s Statement of Faith.About YouYou are someone who thrives in a collaborative and compassionate environment, driven by a passion for making a real difference in the lives of others. Your comprehensive benefits include employer-paid extended health and dental coverage, along with a generous four weeks of vacation.
