Join us today and make a difference Position Summary Under the supervision of the Director of the Centre for Innovative Medicine (CIM), the incumbent is responsible for reviewing, analysing and negotiating study budgets with industry partners. Responsibilities Analyze research protocols to identify all required procedures and develop a detailed budget. Generate and participate in a cost‑analysis evaluation with appropriate stakeholders. Negotiate the budget and payment terms with sponsors within a pre‑determined time frame. Finalize the negotiated agreement with the sponsors. Collaborate with various RI departments as required (study teams, grant office, etc.). Advise the contract office to ensure that legal clauses are included in the final contract agreement with sponsors. Maintain a list of all relevant costs and keep up‑to‑date pricing. Perform all related duties as needed. Required Skills Excellent French and English, spoken and written. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Facility to learn new computer software applications. High level of accuracy and analytical skills. Solid verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities. Ability to demonstrate diplomacy, discretion and good judgment. Ability to take initiative and meet tight deadlines. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Management, Accounting, Business Administration or an equivalent discipline with at least two years of experience; a DEC with three years of experience is also acceptable. Two to three years of related experience in budget negotiations with similar responsibilities. Additional Information Status: Temporary Full‑Time (35‑hour workweek); one‑year contract. Pay Scale: $49,722.40 – $92,346.80, commensurate with education & work experience. Work Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Work Site: GLEN Site, 1001 boul. Decarie.
