Our multidisciplinary team comprises specialized engineers, technicians and support staff and includes professionals from junior to expert levels. Our team of experts helps clients with all their project phases, from feasibility studies to commissioning and asset management.ResponsibilitiesDesign transmission and distribution linesSupervise the work of engineers, technicians and drafters and provide technical supportAct as technical project manager to deliver projects on time, on budget and up to quality standardsDevelop line layoutsDraft and manage engineering documents for transmission and distribution line projects (from 5 kV to 765 kV)Prepare and optimize PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE modelsDesign support structures and foundations for transmission and distribution linesSelect the required components: insulators, hardware, conductors and structuresTake the lead in preparing proposals, studies, cost estimates, reports, and plans and specificationsHelp inspect existing lines and prepare inspection reportsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in civil or electrical engineeringAt least 10 years of experience with transmission and distribution linesRelevant structural experienceTechnical writing skillsKnowledge of the PLS-CADD suiteMember of the Ordre des ingénieurs du QuébecAdvanced level of English to collaborate effectively with BBA offices and/or clients outside Québec.
