The facilitator will support groups with the main leader, helping participants connect, share experiences, and work through challenges in a safe and respectful environment. Learn more about us at maternalminds.org.Type: Part-Time (In-Person)Primary Responsibilities:Create a safe, non-judgmental environment that encourages open communication and sharing of personal experiences.Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of all participants.Provide information and resources on relevant topics when appropriate.Keep track of attendance, group progress, and any follow-up actions needed.Qualifications:Background in Psychology, Women’s Studies, Social Work, or a related field.Strong understanding of Muslim community needs.Experience working with culturally diverse communities and a commitment to culturally sensitive practices.Experience in group facilitation, counselling, social work, or a related field.Knowledge of group dynamics and experience handling group challenges.Excellent communication and active listening skills.For more information, you can email usadmin@maternalminds.org We appreciate all applications, but please note we'll only contact candidates for interviews who meet the job requirements.
