The expected starting base salary for this position is $83,528 - $88,336 annually, depending on qualifications and experience, with progression over time as you develop knowledge and competencies.In addition to base salary, the college offers a generous vacation and extended benefits package. We provide 100% employer-paid health and dental benefits and contribute to B.C.'s Municipal Pension Plan. We support professional development and cover professional membership costs. We offer an employee assistance program and fitness allowance. This position supports flexible hybrid work; located in Vancouver but remote work is possible up to 3 days per week. The office observes 11 statutory holidays in B.C. plus Easter Monday and Boxing Day.What You’ll Be DoingUnder the direction of the Director, IT and guidance from the IT Architect and Infrastructure Team Lead, lead the planning and prioritization of Microsoft 365 features rollouts across the organization, ensuring alignment with digital transformation goals and operational priorities.Key Responsibilities IncludeAdminister and configure Microsoft 365 environments, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, and Power Platform.Manage user accounts, licenses, permissions, and security settings within Microsoft 365.Monitor and optimize Microsoft 365 performance, ensure reliability and scalability; troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Microsoft 365 applications and services.Develop and maintain a structured release cadence for Microsoft 365 features, including Wave Releases (low-impact, phased rollouts), General Adoption Releases (org-wide deployments with training), and high-impact releases managed as structured projects with partner engagement.Coordinate the end-to-end release process, including planning, testing, deployment, and post-release support, working with IT teams and under the guidance of the IT Architect and Infrastructure Team Lead.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment of Microsoft 365 updates, minimizing disruption to business operations; facilitate workshops and meetings to gather feedback and align on release plans.Draft and distribute release notes and other communications to inform users of new features, changes, and benefits, in coordination with the Communications team.Develop and implement strategies to drive user awareness and adoption of new Microsoft 365 features with the change management team; monitor and track success of releases and user satisfaction.Create self-service materials such as quick videos, FAQs, and user guides to support Wave Releases.Organize kick-off sessions, demos, and training programs for General Adoption Releases in collaboration with enabling teams.Engage relevant internal partners for Business Process Impacting Changes through workshops, executive sponsorship, and tailored roadmaps.Demonstrate commitment to ongoing learning related to Indigenous cultural safety and humility and support actions addressing Indigenous-specific racism in BC’s health care system.Your education & skillsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.3 to 5 years of experience with Microsoft 365, including administration, configuration, feature rollouts, and change management; strong understanding of Microsoft 365 applications and their enterprise integration.Experience in creating release roadmaps, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and managing partner communications.Microsoft 365 certification (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert) is an asset.Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools such as SysAid.Excellent project management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple releases simultaneously.Proficiency in creating clear, concise, user-friendly documentation, training materials, and release notes.Knowledge of change management principles and practices.Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking skills with the ability to assess business impact and prioritize releases accordingly.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships internally and externally.Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.Customer-centric mindset with a high level of service orientation.Willingness to work outside regular hours to maintain/upgrade systems and respond to incidents as needed.Knowledge of Indigenous-specific anti-racism and related reports is an asset; understanding of equity, diversity, inclusion, and cultural humility as applied to health care is an asset.How To ApplyIf you are interested in this position, please apply online by 11:59pm on October 3, 2025.
