Worker Type: EmployeeJob Post End Date: 01/24/2026**About this opportunity:**Cenovus is looking for a Senior Maintenance Scheduler; the position will focus on safe and reliable asset management by efficiently scheduling the preservative and restorative maintenance strategies for execution. This role will provide Maintenance Scheduling support to the Lloydminster Upgrader and Ethanol Plants.**Work Environment:*** This position is located in Lloydminster and requires the successful candidate to live in the area**What you’ll do:*** Provide routine non-turnaround maintenance scheduling for the Upgrader complex* Lead notification, daily update, and draft meetings, and preparing draft and final schedules* Support outage or large job scheduling, coordinating/communicating schedule with the warehouse, and the operations maintenance specialist* Communicate, negotiate and work effectively with personnel from many different departments as well as numerous service vendors required to maintain Cenovus assets**Who you are:**Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:* Legally authorized to work in Canada* Journeyman Red Seal certification* P.Eng or CET designation considered an asset* 8+ years experience as a Maintenance Planner* Maintenance Planner Certification, Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) and/or Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) considered an assetWe acknowledge the value of transferable skills and may consider equivalent combinations of experience and education should you not meet a specific requirement.**Note: The application deadline for this position is 11:59 PM MT January 23, 2026.**Cenovus was ranked one of Canada’s Best Employers in 2025.
