Senior Environmental Project Manager Location: Lloydminster, AB Job Type: Full-time About Our Client Our client, an industry-leading environmental consulting firm , has been delivering innovative, safe, and client-focused solutions for over 25 years. Their team is made up of environmental professionals from various disciplines working collaboratively to tackle today's most complex environmental challenges. The Opportunity We are seeking a Senior Environmental Project Manager to oversee environmental and contaminated sites projects across Alberta. This is a strategic leadership role, focused on full project delivery , client relationships , and mentoring of high-performing teams, while ensuring regulatory compliance and upholding the highest safety and quality standards. In this role, you'll blend senior project management with environmental expertise in remediation, reclamation , and environmental monitoring . You will help shape how the work is delivered, driving innovation in project execution and contributing to the company's continuous improvement . Key Responsibilities Lead Projects: Oversee complex environmental and contaminated sites projects from start to finish, ensuring alignment with quality, budget, schedule, and regulatory standards. Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulators, and key stakeholders, acting as the senior point of contact. Team Leadership: Mentor and guide Project Managers, junior technical staff, and consultants, fostering collaboration and driving performance. Business Development: Support proposal development, client engagement, and business growth initiatives. Technical Oversight: Provide expert advice on remediation, reclamation, and regulatory submissions. What We're Looking For Education: Post-secondary degree in Environmental Sciences, Biology, Agrology, Engineering, or related fields. Experience: 10-15 years in environmental consulting, with a focus on contaminated sites and remediation projects. Technical Expertise: Proven experience in Phase I, II, and III ESAs, remediation, groundwater monitoring, and environmental assessments. Leadership: Strong leadership and relationship-building skills, with the ability to lead teams and influence project outcomes. Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Alberta environmental regulations, with previous oil & gas experience being an asset. Skills: Exceptional project management, financial oversight, communication, and decision-making skills.
