Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist Pay Rate: CAD$60- CAD$70/hrLocation: Toronto Role Summary Seeking Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialists to support multiple enterprise-level digital health initiatives. The role focuses on system, integration, and automation testing across complex UI and backend environments in Agile delivery teams. Key Responsibilities Develop testing strategies, test plans, estimates, and execution schedules Perform functional, system integration, API, and backend testing Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and test data Execute manual and automated testing; track, report, and manage defects Collaborate with project, development, and testing leads across delivery phases Support CI/CD pipelines and continuous quality improvement Required Skills & Experience 6-8+ years of experience in system testing and test automation, preferably in healthcare or clinical systems Strong experience with UI and web services automation tools (e.g., Selenium, SOAPUI, JIRA, data-driven testing) Hands‑on experience with RESTful API testing, OAuth2 authentication, and JWT Experience working with ORACLE/SQL databases, ETL processes, and test data creation Knowledge of HL7 and FHIR messaging standards Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Maven, GitLab) Nice to Have Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG/AODA) Programming knowledge for test automation Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Public sector or large enterprise project experience If this opportunity matches your experience and career goals, please share your most updated resume for consideration.
