Intermediate Professional, Project Coordination Join to apply for the Intermediate Professional, Project Coordination role at WSP in Canada. WSP is currently seeking an Intermediate Project Coordinator to join our Building Structures group, located at offices within the Greater Toronto Area. What you will do at WSP Support managers and project teams in organizing, performing, tracking, and reporting project activities. Prepare work plans and assist in preparation of proposals for ongoing or newly awarded projects. Work with project personnel to review and understand project drawings, specifications, and technical documents; draft and review contract correspondence. Schedule projects: understand, review, track progress, and communicate progress to managers and team members. Initiate subcontracts and suppliers, order materials, review payment certificates/invoices, and coordinate with procurement, management, and team members. Maintain budgets and forecasts; understand and manage project budgets. Track project statistics and information; organize, save, and report information to managers and team members. Coordinate communication and organization between internal and external stakeholders. Draft invoices in accordance with contract payment structures for management review. Plan, schedule, and coordinate upcoming project work; attend and organize project meetings and events. Perform administrative duties as required. Represent WSP to clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal groups. What you bring to WSP 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in coordination, administration, or management positions. Extensive experience in building and infrastructure projects, including industrial, municipal, and transit building/structure projects. Experience with a variety of transit entities such as Toronto Transit Commission, Metrolinx, VIA Rail, GTAA, and other transit organizations is an asset. Strong understanding of project delivery models such as Design-Bid-Build (DBB), Design-Build (DB), and Performance-Based Design (PDB). Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related accredited field. About Us WSP is one of the world's leading professional services firms.
