Human Resources Business Partner – Western Canada Location: CHANEL Vancouver – Oakridge BoutiqueReports to: P&O DirectorContract: Full‑time, Permanent PositionTravel: Occasional planned travel across Canada (primarily AB, occasionally ON & QC) Your role at CHANEL People & Organization (P&O) Business Partner (Generalist) supporting Fashion and Fragrance & Beauty (F&B) retail teams in Vancouver & Calgary. Lead employee experience, talent acquisition, onboarding, and learning & development. Key Responsibilities Partner with Fashion and F&B teams to support and strategize retail people initiatives. Maintain people processes: bi‑weekly meetings with Boutique Directors, coaching, employee meetings, performance processes, disciplinary processes. Propose process improvements to maximize corporate performance. Develop talent integration tools/recognition initiatives and diversity & inclusion strategies. Support implementation of employee survey actions (culture, engagement, interest). Lead and participate in committees such as Health & Safety, D&I. Optimize recruitment strategies and coach managers on interviewing techniques. Assist Boutique Directors in selecting best retail staff and improve interview tools. Manage offer process, negotiations and contracts with managers. Build structured onboarding plan with hiring managers. Present recruitment statistics and trends, improve time‑to‑fill metrics. Enter new hires and job changes into Workday. Conduct exit interviews. Partner with Boutique Management to identify learning requirements and design training road maps. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience as an HR/P&O Business Partner or similar role. Advanced knowledge of the Western Canadian people market. Bilingual: English & Mandarin (spoken & written). Recruitment / talent acquisition experience. Working knowledge of HRIS, ideally Workday. Coaching skills and collaborative approach. Ability to influence without control. Resilient positivity and energy. Passion for listening and discovery. Strong organization and attention to detail.
