This role plays a key role in ensuring effective production and handling of incoming and outgoing mail and couriers and will be responsible to ensure service standards are met and strict quality targets are adhered to for a variety of tasks.**Work Model:** This opportunity will be **in-person** working from our Sun Life Toronto One York Office, Sun Life Waterloo King and/or Sun Life Montreal Metcalfe.This opportunity is available to students with a **August 2026 or later** graduation date* Opening, sorting, prepping, and distributing incoming mail, including digitally scanning of some documents* Receiving and distributing incoming courier using electronic tracking software* Sealing and stamping outgoing mail* Preparing outgoing courier shipments and creating digital waybills* Receiving and sorting daily internal system generated output* Perform production tasks such as sorting and collating of documents* Accountable for accuracy and quality throughout production process, ensuring clients receive proper documents* Accountable for understanding the end-to-end processes for Canadian Document Services* Responsible for communicating change that could lead to positive process enhancements* Recognizing what needs to be done to meet customer and business needs* Updating digital databases and completing investigations for return mail* Entering key metrics into Excel spreadsheets* Creating and developing spreadsheets for tracking* Monitoring and responding to business partners’ queries in our team email inbox* Reliability Clearance - as a condition of the role, the successful candidate must obtain a Government of Canada Reliability Status security clearance through Sun Life in advance of the start date* Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with the passion and skill to respond to high priority investigations and escalations* Personable and friendly with a focus on building relationships with all levels of the organization* Solid experience with PC applications in a Windows environment, including Outlook, Word and Excel* Self-starter who takes ownership and has a positive attitude* Team player, willing to contribute and help others and offer guidance* Strong organization and time management skills and ability to prioritize* Strong written and oral communication skills* Ability to work independently with minimum direction and frequent interruptions* Able to maintain a high level of productivity, accuracy and attention to detail at all times* Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines* An understanding of the Insurance Business is an asset* As this position is posted in several locations, we specify that bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required **for Quebec only** for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada or worldwide.**Notes/Unique Requirements:*** Reliability Clearance - As a condition of the role, the successful candidate must obtain a Government of Canada Reliability Status security clearance through Sun Life in advance of the start date* This opportunity will be **in-person** working from our Sun Life Toronto One York Office, Sun Life Waterloo King and/or Sun Life Montreal Metcalfe.* Ability to lift items weighing 50 to 75 lbs and be on their feet for extended periods of time.The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted for.
