We’re looking for a Senior Video & Motion Designer to bring Ada’s people and AI‑powered stories to life through visually stunning, emotionally resonant content. You’ll lead concept‑to‑delivery production—from filming and motion design to experimenting with next‑gen creative tools—shaping how the world experiences our brand. Key Outcomes Translate abstract or technical ideas about AI and automation into accessible, emotionally resonant visual narratives. Lead concept‑to‑delivery creation of motion graphics and video content that brings complex AI‑powered experiences to life—from product explainers, customer stories to campaign spots and keynote visuals. Partner closely with brand, product marketing, content, and occasionally executive teams to define Ada’s visual voice across all motion touchpoints. Design and animate across mediums—from cinematic brand videos and product demos to social media, event, and internal stories. Develop and maintain scalable motion systems: animation libraries, transitions, templates, and toolkits that ensure consistency across platforms. Experiment with new storytelling methods, including AI‑assisted tools for ideation, motion, and video workflows (generative video, style transfer, voice synthesis). Stay ahead of design, motion, and AI trends to continually innovate how we communicate complex technology in simple, compelling ways. About You Experience & Background 5+ years in motion design, animation, and/or end‑to‑end video production for brand, marketing, or product storytelling. Proven experience translating technical or conceptual concepts into compelling motion narratives. Skilled in filming and producing original footage that forms the backbone of high‑end video deliverables. A portfolio demonstrating mastery of pacing, timing, rhythm, and storytelling through motion. Experience collaborating with cross‑functional partners—creative, marketing, product, comms, executive teams—and leading creative direction for video projects. Experience in SaaS B2B storytelling is strongly preferred. Toronto‑based or in the GTA, able to be at the hub 3–4 times per month for shooting. Technical Expertise Advanced proficiency in After Effects, Premiere Pro, and related tools (Cinema 4D, Blender, Photoshop, Illustrator). Knowledge of color grading, audio design, and rendering. Familiarity with AI‑enhanced creative workflows—text‑to‑image or video generation, motion plugins, automation scripts, generative editing. Comfortable working in multiple aspect ratios and formats (social, web, broadcast, vertical). Bonus: Understanding of 3D, interactive motion, or real‑time environments (Unreal, Unity, WebGL). You’re Someone Who Can distill complexity autonomously—translating concepts in AI and automation into relatable human stories.
