OverviewBrandt is currently seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician for our Fort St. John location. We have various shifts available for this position. This position is responsible for the repair and maintenance of construction and forestry based equipment and attachments in a shop environment.Duties & ResponsibilitiesEfficiently and effectively evaluate the working condition of, diagnose, assemble/disassemble, order parts for, and repair heavy duty equipmentUse secondary materials and equipment safely and efficientlyUse related instruments, hand and power tools, secondary equipment, and computer systemsAccurately and completely document on work orders all machine information, actions taken, and time takenContinually assess service task hazards and ensure work is performed safely, and to accepted standardsUse computer applications and information systems (i.e. John Deere Service Advisor) to document maintenance, inspection, and diagnosisUse parts catalogues to locate parts, and order parts from parts personnelRoad test equipment and check attachment operation as requiredSeniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionManagement and ManufacturingIndustriesMachinery ManufacturingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Brandt Group of Companies by 2xSign in to set job alerts for “Heavy Equipment Mechanic” roles. #J-18808-Ljbffr
