The electrician must work closely with the mechanical maintenance and operation departments in accordance with the procedures and policies of G3 Canada Limited.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Holding safety as paramount, mitigate and report immediate hazards to superiors. Recommends safety improvements.Participate in daily toolbox talks and job hazard assessment reviews.Apply and adhere to Lock-Out-Tag-Out equipment isolation protocols.Do quality work and adhere to terminal housekeeping and food safety requirements.Enter performed work details into work order system as required.Perform duties as directed by the General Manager, the Operations Manager, or designate.Work as directed on plant infrastructure and materials handling systems which may include:Belt Conveyors (Enclosed, Air Supported, and Conventional)Bucket ElevatorsDust Collection SystemsGrain Cleaning equipmentDrag conveyorsPneumatic EquipmentFansElectrical SystemsParticipate in provided training requirements as set out by G3 Thunder Bay management.Perform other related duties as assigned.PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:Certified Industrial Electrician designation required (Interprovincial Red Seal Certification considered an asset).Familiarity with maintenance requirements of heavy industrial materials handling systems.5 years minimum experience in an industrial plant setting preferred.Demonstrated leadership, quality of work, troubleshooting ability, and exceptional safety record.If you are looking for a flexible work-life balance, a competitive salary and benefits package, and an opportunity to grow your career, G3 will give you this opportunity.
