We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing complex enterprise solutions that align with the company's business objectives and technology strategies.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Enterprise Architect role is a business and strategic focused thought leader and trusted advisor. This position's portfolio is critical to ensuring initiatives align and move forward with an enterprise level technology. This role will leverage a solid understanding of business goals and capabilities, infrastructure, information, and application environments in conjunction with the Core Enterprise Architecture team, to facilitate the identification and promotion of initiatives that will support and enable business transformation initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES (included but not limited to):
- The Enterprise Architect creates or arranges the creation of reusable business design components including:
- Strategic / enterprise architecture. This is an executive view of the enterprise and is used to design, renew, or transform the value chain network. It looks at the enterprise within its context and sets the internal context for project / initiative architectures. Solution architecture is not involved.
- Project / initiative architecture. This is aimed at part of the enterprise, and is used to design, renew, or transform a line of business or program area operationally. It involves all architecture domains and solution architecture.
- In addition, the service leads the development of:
- Business transformation implementation strategy / plan
- System requirements specifications
- Activities include:
- Security and privacy architecture development
- Business transformation implementation strategy / plan
- Quality assurance
- Current state assessment
- Target business architecture
- Feasibility level business case
- Business transformation implementation strategy / plan
- Strategic / enterprise business architecture
- Business architecture
- Data model
- Technology architecture
- Security and privacy architecture
- Reports on future recommendations (including budgetary information)
- Contribution to concept, methodology, component definition, improvement
- Contribution to industry directions and best practices
- Contribution to documenting the current business and ICT environment and future architecture strategy (1-5 years)
