Indigenous community residents are encouraged to apply. Organization: Statistics Canada – the federal statistical agency that administers the Census of Population and other surveys. Responsibilities Promote census employment opportunities in the designated area through posting and outreach. Communicate with candidates by phone and email to assess job applications. Perform data entry and maintain recruitment files. Coordinate with colleagues to schedule and conduct candidate interviews. Create candidate pools and identify recruitment challenges. Respond to written and telephone inquiries regarding recruitment activities. Conduct second‑language testing for Statistics Act staff, when required. Essential Qualifications Education: Successful completion of two years of secondary school or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience. Experience: General administrative support services in a physical or virtual office environment; computer functions (email, word processing, spreadsheets, presentations). Competencies: Working effectively with others; demonstrating integrity and respect; effective written communication. Language Requirements French – essential or Bilingual imperative (BBB/BBB). Asset Experience Providing service to clients by telephone, in person or in writing. Recruitment experience, including outreach, promotion and candidate assessment.
