As a Business Development Manager at Labofine, a Tentamus Company, you will be the key link between our laboratory and potential clients. Your role will involve identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and promoting our comprehensive range of testing services. If you're a motivated, results‑driven individual with a knack for sales and a passion for science, we want to hear from you HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AS A VITAL PART OF OUR TEAM: Reporting to the VP of Sales and Marketing, the Business Development Manager is accountable for selling our laboratory testing services to prospective customers, fostering and managing client relationships, devising and executing sales strategies to meet sales objectives, and delivering exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will encompass, yet are not confined to: Identify and target potential customers through research and cold calling. Tradeshow set‑up and attendance. Build and maintain strong, long‑lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs, providing solutions and support, and handling complaints and objections professionally and promptly. Track sales, provide regular reports on activities and results, analyze market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities, and prepare and submit sales contracts and agreements. (CRM Tracking) Present, promote, and sell testing services using solid arguments to prospective customers while maintaining a deep understanding of the testing services offered, staying updated on industry trends and market conditions, and providing detailed information to customers. Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service and follow‑up. Maintain customer relationships. Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns, collaborate with the sales team to share best practices and market insights, and participate in team meetings to provide input on sales strategies. POSITION TYPE & EXPECTED SCHEDULE Full‑time, 40 Hours per week | Hybrid | Onsite work at Labofine with travel up to 50% per year. Office and field environments, with regular travel to client and event locations as needed. The training period will be onsite for up to 6 weeks. TO EXCEL AS THE BUSINESSS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER The ideal candidate will be authorized to work in Canada and have the ability to travel to the United States; have strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, plus a deep understanding of the sales process. Other qualifications include: Mandatory: Bilingual in English and French Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred. 1 – 3 years of related experience in Sales i.e. Food, Pharma, Health Science, Supplements, Cosmetics, or similar industries. Previous experience in laboratory testing sales is plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Highly motivated and target‑driven with a proven track record in sales. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required. WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? Vos responsabilités engloberont, sans se limiter à : Identifier et cibler les clients potentiels par la recherche et les appels à froid. Mise en place et participation au salon professionnel. Construisez et maintenez des relations clients solides et durables en comprenant leurs besoins, en offrant des solutions et du soutien, et en traitant les plaintes et objections de façon professionnelle et rapide. Suivre les ventes, fournir des rapports réguliers sur les activités et les résultats, analyser les tendances du marché et les concurrents pour identifier des occasions de croissance, et préparer et soumettre des contrats et ententes de vente. (Suivi CRM) Présenter, promouvoir et vendre des services de test en utilisant des arguments solides aux clients potentiels tout en maintenant une compréhension approfondie des services de test offerts, en restant à jour sur les tendances de l'industrie et les conditions du marché, et en fournissant des informations détaillées aux clients. Assurez la satisfaction de la clientèle par un excellent service et un suivi. Maintenez les relations avec la clientèle. Travailler en étroite collaboration avec l'équipe marketing pour développer des supports promotionnels et des campagnes, collaborer avec l'équipe des ventes pour partager les meilleures pratiques et les perspectives du marché, et participer aux réunions d'équipe pour donner des avis sur les stratégies de vente. TYPE DE POSTE ET HORAIRE ATTENDU À temps plein, 40 heures par semaine | Hybride | Travail sur place chez Labofine avec des déplacements jusqu'à 50% par année. Une expérience antérieure dans la vente de tests en laboratoire est un avantage Capacité à travailler de façon autonome et en équipe. Très motivé et axé sur les objectifs, avec un historique éprouvé en ventes. Maîtrise des suites Microsoft Office et des logiciels CRM. Permis de conduire valide et volonté de voyager au besoin.
