This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments to ensure the smooth functioning of operations.**Location:** This position will be based out of our **Toronto, Canada** office. We strive for collaboration, which is why we offer a work environment where our employees thrive and develop long-lasting careers.**Our business, your impact, our opportunity:****What you’ll be doing:**Data Analysis & Reporting:* Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.* Prepare and present detailed reports to management, highlighting actionable insights.Process Improvement**:*** Evaluate existing workflows and processes to identify areas for optimization.* Collaborate with stakeholders to implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce costs.Operational Support**:*** Serve as a liaison between departments to facilitate smooth communication and coordination.* Assist in resolving operational challenges and ensure alignment with business objectives.Systems & Tools Management**:*** Utilize various software tools and platforms to streamline operations and ensure data accuracy.* Provide training and support to team members on operational systems as needed.Compliance & Risk Management**:*** Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.* Identify and mitigate risks within operational processes.**What you’ll bring:*** Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.* Minimum 2-4 years of experience in an operations, analyst, or similar role.* Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is a strong asset.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).* Familiarity with data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and ERP systems is preferred.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.* Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.**Salary Range:** $62,500 – $80,000 CAD. Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including your qualifications, skills, competencies, and relevant experience.At Sompo, we recognize that the talent, skills, and commitment of our employees drive our success.
