Career opportunity: The Data & AI Platform Owner is responsible for building, managing, and evolving the organization’s data and AI ecosystem. This role ensures that data platforms and AI capabilities are strategically aligned with business objectives, secure, scalable, and optimized for delivering actionable insights and automation. You will be responsible for: Strategic Leadership Define and execute the data and AI platform strategy aligned with enterprise goals. Act as the single point of accountability for platform-related initiatives and governance. Drive adoption of AI capabilities across business units through enablement and training. Platform & Architectural Oversight Design and maintain robust data architecture (e.g., Azure Fabric, SQL, APIs). Oversee integration of AI services (e.g., Copilot, generative AI, predictive analytics). Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards. Operational Excellence Manage backlog grooming, prioritization, and delivery of platform enhancements. Monitor performance metrics, SLAs, and cost optimization strategies. Coordinate cross-functional teams for seamless execution. AI Enablement Implement machine learning and NLP solutions for predictive analytics and automation. Explore agentic AI and third-party integrations (e.g., Salesforce Einstein). Support enterprise-wide AI maturity through POCs and hackathons. The ideal candidate for this position has: 5–10 years in data management, analytics, or platform ownership. Proven track record in implementing enterprise data platforms and AI solutions. Familiarity with cloud ecosystems (Azure) and modern DevOps/DataOps practices. Experience within banking, finance, or investment environments an asset but not required Required Skills: Technical Expertise: Data architecture, SQL, APIs, Azure/Fabric, Power BI, machine learning fundamentals, generative AI. Governance Knowledge: Data privacy, compliance frameworks, AI policy enforcement. Leadership & Communication: Ability to manage stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams. Agile Delivery: Backlog management, prioritization, and iterative development Salary Range $145,000 – $150,000 per annum (actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience, and internal parity).
