We AIM for excellence.What we offerA competitive wage starting at $75,000/year + annual bonusVacation, benefits and RRSP matching programAIM Tuition Assistance ProgramThe tools and support needed to be successful in your career and professional developmentA dynamic & rewarding work environment that is also a lot of funJob DescriptionWe are looking for a Yard Supervisor to join our team in Hamilton, Ontario You will play a crucial role in maintaining productivity while fostering a safe and organized work environment.What you’re responsible forOrganizing and coordinating daily yard activities to ensure efficiencyAssigning tasks to yard employees and monitoring workflow to meet daily operational goalsProviding hands on support and guidance to team membersEnsuring materials are sorted, processed and handled properlyMotivating and encouraging employees to maintain productivityCommunicating expectations and ensuring tasks are carried out accordinglyEnsuring compliance with company policies and identifying opportunities for improvementQualificationsYou have a minimum 2 years experience as a SupervisorYou have previous experience in a recycling, industrial, construction or manufacturing environmentYou have previous experience with heavy equipment (forklift, loader, etc) is an assetYou have strong leadership and problem solving skills, and the ability to make quick decisionsYou have hands‑on experience with yard equipment, material handing, or heavy machineryYou are comfortable working in a physically demanding and fast‑paced environmentYou are comfortable working outdoors with exposure to various weather conditions #J-18808-Ljbffr
