You will play a crucial role in maintaining productivity while fostering a safe and organized work environment. Responsibilities Organize and coordinate daily yard activities to ensure efficiency Assign tasks to yard employees and monitor workflow to meet daily operational goals Provide hands‑on support and guidance to team members Ensure materials are sorted, processed and handled properly Motivate and encourage employees to maintain productivity Communicate expectations and ensure tasks are carried out accordingly Ensure compliance with company policies and identify opportunities for improvement Qualifications Minimum 2 years experience as a Supervisor Previous experience in a recycling, industrial, construction or manufacturing environment Knowledge of heavy equipment (forklift, loader, etc.) is an asset Strong leadership and problem‑solving skills, and the ability to make quick decisions Hands‑on experience with yard equipment, material handling, or heavy machinery Comfortable working in a physically demanding and fast‑paced environment Comfortable working outdoors with exposure to various weather conditions Details Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level Employment type: Full‑time Job function: Management Industries: Utilities #J-18808-Ljbffr
