Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site Loss Prevention Officer role based in Newmarket, ON. The Loss Prevention Officer will focus on protecting assets, minimizing losses, and maintaining a secure environment. Daily responsibilities include monitoring for theft, conducting surveillance, implementing prevention strategies, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. The role requires collaboration with other team members to develop solutions and maintain safety standards. Qualifications Proficiency in Retail Loss Prevention and experience developing strategies to minimize theft and prevent resource loss Strong Communication skills to interact professionally with team members, management, and external parties Knowledge of Physical Security measures and capacity to ensure the safety of assets and facilities Experience with Surveillance technologies and techniques to monitor and identify risks Proactive Prevention skills to identify potential risks and implement deterrents Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick, sound decisions Completion of a security training program or relevant certification is an asset Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to security is advantageous Location Newmarket, ON, Canada Seniority Level Entry level Employment type Full‑time Job function Management and Manufacturing Industries Security and Investigations #J-18808-Ljbffr
