Summer 2026 Work Term Term Length: 4 months Term Start: May 4, 2026 Term End: August 21, 2026 The pay range for the co-op student role will reflect factors such as the candidate's experience, academic level, and the specific skillset required for the role. Loblaw has adopted the following hybrid working model (a combination of working between the office and remotely). Colleagues can work remotely up to 1 day a week, while spending the other 4 days in the office (to be determined by each business unit). GENERAL SUMMARY This role will support various Finance functions for Sourcing ACCOUNTABILITIES Responsible for timely and accurate preparation of AR Billing Preparation of period end journal entries & accruals to support the period end close process as needed Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process efficiencies and improvements Create SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) of new processes and update existing SOPs Generate reports, validate data, and analyze performance for sourcing deals related to 2026 initiatives Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives within the department Relationship Building Act as a business partner, providing support to our relevant business contacts Gain the confidence of the business by providing accurate and timely financial information, delivery with a sense of urgency and coping with business changes effectively and efficiently. Communication Internal/External Keep appropriate individuals informed and up to date (team members/senior management) on status of financial information and projects Work closely with business contacts to understand urgency of financial tasks assigned and elevate any issues in a timely manner Any Other Duties As Required Any other responsibilities or projects, as required. KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED Current enrollment in a relevant post-secondary program, focused on Accounting, Finance or related disciplines.
