**Title: Analyst, Finance** **Location: Brampton, Ontario** **Reports to: Manager, Finance** Responsibilities include month end closing and account reconciliations, customer investment review and analytics, preparation of monthly reporting, maintaining monthly/quarterly forecasts, developing ad hoc P&L’s, and assisting with Balance Sheet management. This position will work closely with local sales and marketing functions towards the mutual goal of driving profitable growth for the business unit in Canada. Duties include: - Provide insight and analysis into drivers of financial results and key metrics - Work with the Sales and Sales Planning teams on strategic initiatives, providing leadership and direction from a finance perspective - Prepare customer and product line reporting, identify profitability trends, and deliver recommendations to improve results - Support trade analytics and review of customer investments (pricing exceptions, promotions, programming etc.) - Maintain accurate departmental overhead expense forecasts with variance commentary - Participation in monthly “Billing meeting” sales reviews - Responsible for internal monthly and quarterly reporting, including working with US partners - Month end closing journal entries and G/L account reconciliations - Maintain accurate P&L forecasts with variance commentary - Track business risks and opportunities - Customer claims / rebate analysis and accounting - Ad hoc projects as assigned Experience Required: - University Degree - Minimum 5 years related finance experience - Accounting designation - SAP BW Reporting and SAP GL experience - Superior Excel skills - Detailed knowledge of Invoice to Net Sales components - Excellent teamwork and communication skills - Proven self-starter - Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously Preferred Qualifications: - SAP experience a plus - Hyperion, NBPlan experience a plus If you feel you need accommodation because of illness or disability, please do not hesitate to contact Human Resources at 289-291-5600 at your earliest convenience.
