Job Information Employment Type: Full Time, Contract Schedule: Monday to Friday (40 hours) – $17.60–$21.50/hour (varies by position) Anticipated Start: May or June 2026 Contract End: August 28, 2026 Deadline: Positions will be posted until filled; first round interviews by January 3, 2026. Role Description Work alongside the Day Camp Director to oversee a network of nine camp locations across Cambridge, Guelph, Stratford, Kitchener, and Waterloo. The role requires reliable vehicle access for travel. Assistant Director: Staff development, administration support, parent relations, facility management. Day Camp Administrator: Registration & payment, weekly camp communication, attendance oversight, office management. Site Supervisor: Camp programming, staff development & evaluation, parent communication, inclusion support. Site Assistant: Camper management, program development, parent communication. Leader in Training Mentor: Guide and evaluate LITs based on curriculum. Counselor: Lead camp activities (games, water, creative, science) and create memories with campers. Lifeguard: Ensure lifeguarding procedures, oversee swim and boating safety, enforce safety protocols. On Call Counselor: Cover absences; attend all training. Inclusion Support Counselor: Support campers with disabilities or behavioral challenges; coach counselors; communicate with parents. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum age 18 years. Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle. Comfortable traveling to multiple camp sites. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Previous camp or youth program experience preferred (not mandatory). Commitment to complete a current Vulnerable Sector Check and employer reference checks.
