The successful candidate will provide care according to the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario, the Standards of Practice of Carecor Health Services, and the healthcare facility where assigned. Pay rate: $58/hour


Qualifications

Our “exemplary standing” with Accreditation Canada is held to the highest regard and is a testament to the fact that we uphold the same hiring standards and patient care delivery as the facilities in which we serve.

· Graduate from an accredited Medical Radiation Technology program

· Current member with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) M.R.T(R) in good standing

· Current membership with the CAMRT or OAMRS is preferred

· Minimum 2 years of experience in radiology within the past 5 years

· Ability to confidently and skillfully produce and assess diagnostic radiographs

· Proficient in caring for and assessing patients with acute and critical conditions

· Effective problem solving and critical thinking skills capable of working independently and as a part of an interdisciplinary team

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to demonstrate compassion, and professionalism in order to deliver quality patient-centered care

· Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate

· Proof of current immunization for measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (MMRV), tetanus, pertussis, polio, hepatitis B

· Proof of negative TB skin test within the past one year or negative chest x-ray within the past five years

· Willing to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire

· 2 references from direct reports, educators, preceptors and/or managers


Please note that based on government mandates and directives, healthcare workers are required to provide proof of full COVID-19 Vaccination. If successful, new hires will be required to provide proof of vaccination prior to their start date.
