Reporting to the Store Administrator, the Store Promoter is responsible for demonstrating and promoting products to customers with an intention to persuade the consumer to buy the products, executing the Customer Service Strategy and achieving the sales targets. T&T Supermarket Inc. was founded in 1993 with two stores in BC. Since then, it has expanded rapidly and is now Canada’s largest Asian supermarket chain with 37 stores across the country: 14 in BC, 7 in Alberta, 14 in Ontario, and 2 in Quebec. The company’s continuous expansion is going to bring more new stores in the next couple of years. Responsibilities Engage the consumer by generating excitement and brand awareness Dynamically sell product to the customers by positively greeting, presenting and demonstrating the product with a variety of people Achieve assigned sales targets Responsible for the organization and coordination of promoting merchandise Set‑up, organize and close work area including cleaning and sanitizing, washing and drying dishes and proper storage of equipment Adhere to all Food Safety handling and sanitation training and guidelines Participate and adhere to all safety policies, training and practices Able to handle customer complaints and establish good and timely communications with the immediate scenario and the relevant department head Possess good knowledge on Customer Service Possess good knowledge on Food Safety Sales skills: Minimum 1 year of experience in retail grocery sales or restaurant or food service high level desirable Strong verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin / Cantonese / French Basic cooking skills, able to use products or cook food as appropriate for the demonstration Ability to solve problems and to deal with a variety of variables Ability to stand comfortably for up to 6 hours Must be able to work flexible hours and schedule including weekends / statutory holidays Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full-time Job function Marketing and Sales Industries Retail Groceries #J-18808-Ljbffr
