The Specialist provides human resources expertise, leadership, consultation and decision making to all levels of the organization as well as external partners including 3S Health, Ministry of Health, SAHO, educational institutions and other Health Regions. The Specialist provides solutions for regional issues including collective agreement interpretation, union negotiation, recruitment and retention strategies, organizational change, layoff, hiring, human rights and provincial labour law, human resource indicator analysis and benchmarking, and regional multi-year HR planning aligned with SHA's (Saskatoon) strategic plan.
