This senior leader will ensure IT initiatives directly support business goals, deliver measurable value, and position the company for leadership when technology and AI are critical to achieving company goals and differentiated outcomes in competitive markets. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with strategic thinking, operational leadership, and a collaborative mindset.Key ResponsibilitiesLead enterprise-wide IT strategy and execution, ensuring alignment with business priorities and growth objectives.Own and evolve the IT infrastructure, systems architecture, and application portfolio to support operational efficiency and future scalability.Drive innovation by identifying and integrating emerging technologies that enhance service quality, customer experience, and competitive differentiation.Collaborate with executive leadership to assess business needs, define technology roadmaps, and deliver transformative IT capabilities.Establish and enforce robust security, privacy, and compliance protocols in collaboration with the CISO team.Direct the implementation and lifecycle management of core systems, ensuring high performance, reliability, and adaptability.Develop and lead high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and innovation.Lead a global IT team, including team members based in Ireland and India, ensuring alignment and collaboration across geographies.Create clear structures and processes for IT service delivery, vendor management, and internal support across departments.Monitor, measure, and optimize IT performance, ensuring services adapt with evolving business requirements with a customer service mindsetRepresent IT strategy and operations to internal stakeholders and external partners, building trust and alignment across functions.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field — or equivalent experience.10+ years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles, including 2+ years at a senior or executive level.Proven success in leading enterprise IT organizations through periods of growth, modernization, and technical transformation.Deep understanding of infrastructure, cloud services, enterprise applications, and systems integration.Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, manage change, and deliver complex initiatives on time and within budget.Ability to define strategic initiatives and operationalize emerging technology to enable critical business goalsStrong executive presence, communication skills, and a collaborative leadership style that develops strong relationships with stakeholders to jointly deliver on business goals.Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.Our Culture and ValuesAt eSentire we work in a collaborative and innovative work environment.
