(TCI) currently has an exciting opportunity for a Dealer Facility Planning and Support Specialist to join our Dealer Standards and Sales Operations (DSSO) team. This is a contract opportunity and will report to the Manager of Dealer Standards and Representation.The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring that Toyota facility standards are upheld and promoted throughout our Dealer network, as well as develop the vision for the future of Toyota and Lexus facilities. This role will include some direct Dealer and vendor interactions, as well as provide support to various team members.**What We’ll Bring:*****Company & Culture**** A hybrid work environment* A work environment built on teamwork, flexibility and respect* Professional growth and development programs to help advance your career* A focus on respect for people and continuous improvement* Summer Hours – condensed work week during the summer***Benefits**** Competitive compensation package* Extended health care and dental benefits effective immediately* Associate vehicle discount program* Paid holiday shutdown and competitive paid time off benefits**What You’ll be Doing:**Dealer Facility Upgrades* Assist Zone Dealer Development Managers with obtaining approvals of dealership renovations, relocations, and final building designs* Monitor Zone facility projects and schedules, report on progress* Represent TCI facility interests in communication with business partners and Dealers* Be the gatekeeper of Toyota Facility Standards – maintain, adjust, and ensure compliance* Lead the PDCA survey process after facility project completion* Manage key facility vendor relationshipsFuture Facility* Research and assist in the development of long-term Toyota and Lexus facility requirements that prioritize the customer experience* Liaise with TMNA and industry counterparts, ensuring open dialogue and idea sharing* Evaluate new initiatives, analyze and build consensus for their adoption or rejection* Work cross functionally within TCI and TMNA to support with network BEV readiness* Lead environment/green focused facility studies and initiatives* Responsible for overseeing the Dealership BEV readiness launch, ensuring effective communication across the network and maintaining liaison with our business partnersProject Management* Review and be able to understand existing dealer standards structure* Support with initial stakeholder meetings across various departments* Updating of all existing dealer standards, ensuring dealer standards format and structure remain in place* Publish updated dealer standards on InfostreamDepartment Support* Provide administrative assistance for budgeting, scheduling, and reporting* Special projects including event organization and ad hoc requests* Support Dealer Development Managers with governance projects and process* Other duties as required**What You’ll Bring:*** University/College Degree/Diploma in Business, Automotive, or Architecture-related discipline* 3+ years of automotive experience with exposure to automotive dealerships operations, facility standards, and OEM requirements* Experience in dealer facing roles is an asset* Excellent oral and written communication skills* Strong time management and organizational skills* Strong analytical skills* Proven ability to build relationships with Dealer- facing staff and Dealers* A self-starter with proven experience managing projects, timelines, and various stakeholders* Proficiency in French is an assetToyota Canada Inc. is the exclusive Canadian distributor of Toyota and Lexus vehicles.
