You'll work closely with our customers to understand their travel needs and preferences, and use your expertise to recommend destinations, itineraries and accommodations that meet their expectations.ResponsibilitiesAdvise clients on travel options offered by our various partnersNetwork and promote new travel business and grow your repeat client baseMeet established monthly and yearly sales and revenue targetsQuickly determine specific client needs and source solutions using all tools availableSell travel packages in all product categories, including the preparation of complex itineraries using various booking platforms (Apollo; Sirev)Be alert to changing trends; adapt services to the client’s needs even when difficult circumstances ariseQualificationsMinimum of 2 years sales experience within a retail environment and consistently meet sales targetsAbility to influence through effective sales and prospecting techniques while building friendly and positive business relationshipsAdvanced communication skills combined with an outgoing and energetic natureExperience leveraging social media and learning new software quicklyDemonstrates flexibility in work schedule, available to work outside of normal business hours to attend trade shows, conventions, and business events or to complete any agreed upon taskThe willingness to obtain your TICO or OPC for agencies in QC certification if you do not already have itEmployment EquityAt Transat, we foster an environment where inclusiveness, respect, and equity reign.
