We’re building a thriving organization that’s purpose driven and still want to remember what your favourite milkshake flavour is.Office Location: Bridgewater, NSAlternate Location: Bridgewater, NSReq # 11228ResponsibilitiesProvide recommendations for our clientsPlan and execute client engagementsBookkeeping preparation and posting of client transactionsPlanning and execution of notice to reader engagements, including preparation of financial statementsPreparing adjusting journal entriesPerforming reconciliations of bank accounts, accounts payable and accounts receivablePerforming reconciliations of payrollPreparing personal and corporate tax returns, partnership returns, trust returns and GST returnsAssisting a broad range of privately held business clients with day-to-day accounting queriesCompleting additional ad-hoc duties or assignments as requiredQualificationsAn accounting certificate, diploma or equivalent practical experience (we can also support those who are in the CPA program or intend to in the future).1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in public practiceExperience with QuickBooks is an assetThe ability to work independently and within a teamExcellent attention to detailAbility to be an articulate, inspiring and versatile communicator, both written and verbalWhat’s in it for you?Profit sharing, Flex days, RRSP contributions, Firmwide holiday closure, Wellness benefits, Concierge-like benefits, Work from anywhere in Canada in the summer for 4 weeks, and moreCulture and applyingOur special culture shines through when we have the opportunity to connect in person.
