We employ about 3000 people across Canada and care about our colleagues, our clients and the communities where we work and live.RoleAccountant, Privately Held Business Group—your responsibilities will include:Provide recommendations for our clientsPlan and execute client engagementsBookkeeping preparation and posting of client transactionsPlanning and execution of notice to reader engagements, including preparation of financial statementsPreparing adjusting journal entriesPerforming reconciliations of bank accounts, accounts payable and accounts receivablePerforming reconciliations of payrollPreparing personal and corporate tax returns, partnership returns, trust returns and GST returnsAssisting a broad range of privately held business clients with day-to-day accounting queriesCompleting additional ad-hoc duties or assignments as requiredAbout Doane Grant ThorntonDoane Grant Thornton is driven to connect with how others are feeling and thinking.
