We specialize in the in-house design, manufacturing, and installation of all types of signage—both illuminated and non-illuminated—using our own fleet of crane and bucket trucks. Our experienced team manages signage projects from concept to completion with precision and dedication. Position Job Description Everest Signs is seeking a highly experienced, mature, and hands‑on Production Supervisor to oversee our full manufacturing operations. This is an on‑site, senior leadership role responsible for managing daily production activities, workflow, staffing, quality control, scheduling, and coordination with project coordinators and installation teams. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience working in Canada within a related manufacturing environment—preferably signage, metal fabrication, custom manufacturing, or construction. This person must demonstrate strong leadership, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to manage a fast‑paced production floor. Key Responsibilities Production Leadership & Operations Oversee day‑to‑day production operations including fabrication, welding, assembly, painting, graphics, shipping/receiving, and installation preparation. Develop and manage production schedules to ensure timely completion of all projects. Coordinate closely with Project Coordinators to review drawings, timelines, material requirements, and installation dates. Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and according to specifications. Team & Workflow Management Lead a multi‑disciplinary production team, providing direction, mentorship, and performance feedback. Allocate staff, equipment, and resources based on workload demands. Conduct daily production meeting to review progress, address bottlenecks, and set targets. Quality Control & Standards Maintain high‑quality standards throughout the entire production process. Review fabrication drawings, shop drawings, and specifications for accuracy and feasibility. Approve final products before delivery or installation. Material & Supply Coordination Work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components. Monitor inventory levels for raw materials, hardware, LEDs, aluminum, steel, acrylic, paints and fasteners. Approve material substitutions or redesigns when necessary. Health & Safety Enforce adherence to safety protocols and provincial regulations. Conduct regular inspections and coordinate training for safe equipment handling. Identify operational inefficiencies and implement improvements in workflow, processes, equipment usage, and quality control. Participate in hiring recommendations for production staff when required. Qualifications & Skills Minimum 7 years of full‑time work experience in Canada in a related field (signage, metal fabrication, construction, manufacturing, or industrial production). Prior leadership/management experience supervising production teams. Strong understanding of fabrication materials such as aluminum, steel, acrylic, LED lighting, paints, and sheet metals. Ability to read, interpret, and review shop drawings, architectural drawings, and technical schematics. Proficiency with MS Office; experience with AutoCAD, Illustrator, or fabrication software is an asset. Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate across departments. Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Valid Ontario Driver’s License (preferred but not mandatory). Experience specifically in the sign manufacturing industry is a strong asset.
