The main function of a non-ITprogram manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in suchfields as engineering, research and development, financial systems,etc or any other non-IT based project.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinateprojects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing thesuccessful transfer of equipment and services between sights.
  • Present and explain proposals, reports and findings toclients.
  • Confer with management, production and marketingstaff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
  • Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.
  • Direct, review and approve proposals to achieve neededtransitions
  • Consult or negotiate with clients to prepareproject specifications

Skills:

  • Verbal and written communication skills, problemsolving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
  • Strong knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MSPowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor'sdegree in business administration or 4 years experience in techindustry
  • PMI or PMP certification preferred.
  • Inventory Management, configuration control and assettracking
