OverviewPort Colborne Hospital is a community healthcare facility providing emergency and inpatient services. The site includes main entrances, emergency department, and visitor areas, with moderate public traffic. "based on levelling system"Averaging Agreement: Overtime is Averaging Agreement after 88 HoursPosting Date: Jan 13, 2026Internal Posting Closing Date: Jan 19, 2026External Posting Closing Date: Jan 19, 2026Key responsibilitiesConduct regular rounds of hospital premises, including parking areas, hallways, patient rooms, entrances, and exits, to ensure the safety and security of the site.Operate security cameras and alarm systems, ensuring any suspicious activity is reported immediately to the appropriate authorities.Monitor and control entry points to the hospital, ensuring that only authorized individuals are allowed access to restricted areas.Act quickly in emergency situations, such as medical emergencies, fire alarms, or security threats. Assist hospital staff as needed during crises and evacuations.Greeting and assisting visitors, patients, and hospital staff. Provide directions and ensure that guests adhere to hospital policies and procedures.De-escalate tense situations, resolve conflicts, and ensure that all interactions are handled calmly and professionally.Document daily activities, incidents, or accidents accurately.
