We are hiring for a Principal at Norman Carter Elementary School in Wilkie, SK. This is a Permanent Full‑time position commencing at the start of the 2026‑2027 school year. They will believe in the importance of trauma‑informed classrooms and honor Indigenous teachings and diversity to promote a culture of respect. Leadership experience around differentiation and interventions to meet the needs of each individual would be considered an asset. It will be important for candidates to be able to: Lead Learning (Instructional Leadership) Set Vision and Provide Direction Secure Caring and Respectful Schools Develop People and Build Relationships Strengthen the Educational Community (through working with parents and other agencies) Embrace a culture of change improvement for leading‑edge results Qualifications Applicants are required to possess a Master’s Degree in Education or be committed to completing post‑graduate studies in an applicable field. Additionally, they must be eligible for or possess a valid Saskatchewan Teaching Certificate.
