OverviewBusiness Development Representative - Aquatic Informatics (AQI) at Hach. This remote, Canada-based role is part of the Global Marketing team and reports to the VP of Marketing.ResponsibilitiesIdentify and qualify new business opportunities, uncover needs, and align prospective customers with solutions to help them achieve their goals.Reach out to prospective customers in strategic markets and geographies to generate qualified leads through discovery and discussion.Understand the needs, challenges, and priorities of prospects to determine whether there is a potential sales opportunity.Prioritize timely follow-up communications to facilitate needs-based conversations, convert leads to product demos, and create qualified opportunities.Demonstrate a clear understanding of product and service value propositions to identify gaps and convey information clearly to generate curiosity and urgency.Essential requirements1-2 years of BDR or sales experience, preferably in a B2B or B2G organizationA bachelor’s degree or post-secondary diplomaAbility to call potential clients to discover their needs and hold informed, relevant conversationsFocus on meeting quantitative goals and managing yourself to specific metricsAbility to partner with Account Executives to ensure follow-up and smooth hand-offCompensation and benefitsSalary range: 50,000 to 70,000 CAD per yearEligible for Bonus PlanProfessional onboarding and training optionsHealth benefitsRetirement planningAbout the companyAquatic Informatics (AQI), a Veralto company, serves water organizations with software solutions for water data management, analytics, and compliance.
