The ideal candidate is keen to be an active participant in mentorship and take part in the continual growth and development of themselves and team members.**Please note that this position is an on-site position at our project site in Halifax.**Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage on-site contract administration services and act as primary point of contact between clients, contractors and project managersConduct site inspections to ascertain project adherence to contract documents and relevant building & safety codes; prepare any necessary associated documentation and communicationsIdentify any deviation from contract documents and work with key stakeholders to resolve issues in a timely and efficient mannerManage documentation process and coordination to support modificationsPrepare reports on project process/progress, and construction & detailing issuesWork with project managers and design team to deliver exceptional client services, manage client expectations, and ensure client satisfaction & project successRequired Skills and ExperiencePost graduate education in Architecture or Architectural TechnologyMinimum of 7 years of experience in an architectural firm with a focus on Revit based projects and CAOther graphic software such as Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering programs is an assetExperience with dRofus is an assetAbility to work effectively independently and as part of a teamWorking knowledge of current industry standards, local building codes and building scienceCertified Construction Contract Administrator and/or LEED AP- LEED certification is an assetPositive attitude, passion, and patienceExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility and willingness to travel as requiredBENEFITS OF WORKING AT B+HCompetitive salary based on experience and industry standards.An excellent employer paid Extended Health & Dental Benefit, Life, and AD&D.Employee Wellness Program.You will be exposed to an open, ‘continuous learning’ environment (i.e. lunch & learn) where professional development and career progression is encouraged.You will work within a dynamic, driven, high-achieving, close-knit, and fun-loving team.We value and are committed to upholding a culture of Inclusion and Belonging.OUR FIRMB+H is a global, award-winning, full-service design firm recognized for excellence in sustainable design, technical expertise and the delivery of complex, large-scale projects.
