Job Summary MLT Aikins Regina is in search of a Corporate/Commercial Legal Assistant with experience in a general corporate/commercial practice. The ideal candidate will have good practical training and experience from working in a busy corporate/commercial practice and will have graduated from an accredited legal program (equivalencies will be considered). Candidates must be self-motivated and be able to multi-task and prioritize workload, pay attention to detail and have excellent organization, communication and written skills. Responsibilities Perform complex editing and formatting for correspondence and documents Prepare various administrative tasks including file opening, billing and follow-up to review outstanding accounts Maintain an efficient file system (physical and electronic files) Complete, monitor and follow up on all post-closing documents Perform day-to-day administrative tasks including file organization, diarizations, booking appointments and maintaining calendars Attend to online filings with corporate registries Qualifications Experience in a corporate/commercial practice Graduated from an accredited legal program (equivalencies will be considered) Self-motivated, able to multi-task and prioritize workload Attention to detail with excellent organization, communication and written skills Note: This description is based on the information provided and does not include non-essential boilerplate. #J-18808-Ljbffr
